A Place for All on the Spiritual Journey

“He drew a circle that shut me out- Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.

But love and I had the wit to win: We drew a circle and took him in!”

- Edwin Markham

Preston is passionate about spiritual life, something he was unaware of until an encounter with Unconditional Love at the age of 20 set him on a journey of discovery. That journey led him through multiple expressions of Christianity, which included the good, the bad, the ugly, and the sacred. In both student and leadership roles within these communities, Preston realized how it all belongs in the sojourn to find a place whose maker and builder is actually God. This place is found within us and the larger community around us, once we have eyes to see.

Preston lives to help others develop these eyes.

With 20+ years of spiritual seeking and finding, Preston offers a diverse understanding of the spiritual life that inspires and instructs. He does this through crafting language and spaces, facilitating conversation and retreats, and teaching from the essence and poetry of his own life. As a trained spiritual director, he journey’s with people in helping them develop and strengthen the eyes that see God in and through all of life.

Preston loves to be outdoors in creation where you will often find him with his wife Bethany and two sons Courage and Kairos. You will find him continually learning, making others laugh, creating space for souls to be heard, and hoping to find an open heart who wants to explore the embodied depths of spiritual meaning together.
